What Causes Low Bleeding During Menstruation After Delivery?
Question: Hi Doctor,
My name is XXXXXXX XXXXXXX 31 years old.I am getting my periods around 18th or 19th of every month.I have a five year old kid.Initially before my delivery ,my period cycle used to be 4to 5 days.After my delivery it started bleeding for around 3 days every month. but for the past one year,it has been bleeding for just 2 days in a month and the third day just spotting.I don't know what is the reason for that.I tend to feel more weak after my periods is over.Please help ..

Hello Mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
I understand your health concerns, but in my opinion there is nothing to worry.
It is common to have decreased period flow with advancing age and usually nothing active need to be Done.
Still get an ultrasound done and see if there is any problem.
Also get these blood tests so as to see the cause of weakness - complete blood count, random blood sugar and thyroid function tests.

At your age it is advised to take one tablet a day each of iron and calcium.
Just keep one important point in mind that both these have to be taken separately and t least a 2 hour gap should be there between the two
