Question : hello...i'm female, 64, and my doctors don't take seriously that i have consistently low body temp. right now it's 95.5!? i'm kinda nauseous and light-headed. (may be due to the half-time show:) i have asthma (i take singulair, allegra 180, ventolin and flovent), type 2 diabetes (metformin, humalog and levemir), lexapro for depression (i was born allergic and depressed:), and barrette's esophagus (no meds...i tried 5 different ppi's. each made me sicker than the one before. i take amlodipene, hydrochloroth and ld aspirin for bp, and 12.5 mcg levothyroxine for slightly low thyroid. all these meds keep 'things' pretty much in check, but i always feel drugged and most often fatigued. i'm on hrt (estro. patch and progesterone) and take sulfasalazine?sp) for arthritis. i should add that i'm 5'7" 160 lbs.--up 20 lbs. from starting lexapro exactly 2 years ago. thank you.

                                    Brief Answer:
Any recent thyroid blood works?
Detailed Answer:
Good day,
Noted your concern.
From the history, you have Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, Hypothyroidism, Asthma, Depression, Barrett's esophagus and arthritis. The symptom of feeling cold or Hypothermia may be due to either Hypothyroidism or due to depression.
The drugged feeling may be due to Lexapro. The weight gain also could be due to Lexapro.
Do you have a recent thyroid function test result?

Binu
