What Causes Low Enery And Fatigue?

default
Posted on Wed, 18 Jun 2014
Question: Hi Doctor.
I feel very dull, and with no energy, all through the day.
there was a time, when i use to run and be very active in extra curricular like, arbics, swimming etc, but now it feels as if there is no energy in the body since few months.
I have got my triglyceride test done, as unexpectedly it was 310, i am not eating junk, and eating only home made food. my regular eating habits mostly include lots of fruits and vegetable. i sleep on time , but unable to get up in the mornings as i feel dead tired. from last few day i have stopped going to my dance classes and yoga classes and i feel i don''t have energy to actively participate. I did not get my periods this month, due to the consumption of contraceptive pills, for which i will be visiting a gynecologist tomorrow, as i feel the pills have shown some side effects as i have consumed 3 emergency pills withing 3 consecutive days. yes my stress levels are high , which i believe i can sort out with my early morning workouts but that is just not happening due to lack of energy.
I have low BP problem, which is increasing with the weight, and therefore i am more focused towards workouts now but due to lack of energy ,as i mentioned earlier, i get up in the mornings but m too dull to exert. My body weight is 78. i was reading some where and came to know that this could be due to lack of Vitamin B, but i dont want to be on supplements etc without an experts advice.
Please suggest as i want to normalize by THL level with a healthy and good fitness levels.

Brief Answer:
Deal with stress and turmoil first

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

It is no wonder that once upon a time very active female complains about lack of energy now. You were bitten by unacceptability bug, you were not able to take the 310 TG levels and it was an upset for an active female.

But you should understand that lifestyle is not the only factor that controls. 60% of it depends on genetics as well. So do not worry it is not a culprit and you are not socially outcast. You should start accepting and move ahead. The triglycerides can be brought down sooner with the help of medications.

I find this kind of complaints from people who have a very low mood even when they are fair healthy. You need a counselor help along with a physician.

Your supplements are ok but do you need them? Would they take care of the day long tiredness? You should ask this question to your doctor.

Thanks Doctor,

but to highlight TSH levels are never a part of my thought process always.

But there is a n unusual drop in the activeness for more than 6 months, which i feel is very unsual for me, as i have been trying to push myself psychologically, but now i really m so tired to even try.

May be yes , i would definitely try out a counselor and a physician as suggested by you.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Immune system should be robust

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have piece of information for you that benefit you from the current set of symptoms. You may or may not have an organic disorder still good to check with the local doctor as in my previous reply.

Do not be lonely. stay social.
Always prefer dark colored diet. They have antioxidants
Reduce antibiotic use unless required.
Do not work if you feel a sense of tiredness. You may need a break from the job as well.
Prefer to listen and see something that you love and wish to be with.

You need a more holistic approach than pure drugs.
