What Causes Low Grade Fever Despite Having Treatment For UTI?

Question: Just had a UTI two weeks ago .I was on Bactrim for ten days. Now I have this persistent low grade temperature for almost a week now. Does still have to do w/ my infection ?

Low grade temperature can be caused by uti which has not been completely cured. However low grade temperature can also indicate an infection in any other location (throat, lungs). Moreover low grade fever can be present in any cancer.
So it is really hard to tell what exactly is causing it not being able to perform physical examination.
That is why I suggest you to consult your doctor. Have physical examination, urine analysis and blood work done at first.
