Question : I am running a low-grade fever (101), I’ve a very sore throat and a painful cough. In addition, I’m coughing up a lot of pleghm. I’ve had these symptoms for some 3 days, after making a trip by air.

As you explain the history it seems to be a viral situation. However, in my opinion, probably antibiotics should be added in the current treatment.

Usually, we recommend amoxicillin combined with painkillers and mucolytics like acetylcysteine and you will feel better again soon. Please visit your doctor for a prescription.
