Question : 29 year old female. Lower Abdominal cramps for 2 weeks, rectal bleeding yesterday and today
Brief Answer:
hemorrhoids?
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
rectal bleeding in a young and otherwise healthy individual is usually caused by hemorrhoids, particularly if there was blood on the toilet paper.
The abdominal cramps can be caused by various conditions including irritable bowel syndrome, gastrointestinal infections, etc.
If you've had blood mixed with the stool then it could be a different story though. Please clarify this issue. Also please inform me if you've had fever or any other symptom besides the aforementioned ones.
Kind Regards!
