What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain After An IUI Procedure?
Question: Doctor after iui i have left leg pain and lower abdomen, backpain also like period symtoms. This month i expect baby.plz answer me.

After an IUI procedure , such symptoms of leg pain , lower back pain and abdominal pain are uncommon usually, though mild abdominal ache is often seen in both iliac regions once conception occurs under progesterone effect , but not related to iii procedure per se.
You may wait for at least 8 days post your missed periods date to check for pregnancy by urine test or you may get a serum beta hcg test done after 8 days post IUI procedure to be conclusive on the pregnancy result. If the result is positive then the symptoms are due to progesterone effect but if negative then these are indicative of a likely ensuance of menses in next few days.
