Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Did you visit the ER ?
If yes, what investigations were done ?
When was your last period and in how many days do you usually menstruate - do you always have regular cycles ?
If you are overdue, please take a pregnancy test.
If pregnancy is ruled out, other causes of a delayed cycle are stress, weight gain, hypothyroidism, polycystic ovaries, alcohol, smoking, late nights, erratic eating etc.
You have been rightly prescribed a laxative for constipation - constipation is mostly causing the left sided abdominal pain, and a laxative would relieve that.
The rest of the symptoms could be caused by an approaching period / early pregnancy.
All the best

Detailed Answer:
I think you should consult a gynaecologist.
Please go for a complete pelvic transvaginal ultrasound scan and hormonal levels - FSH, LH, TSH, Prolactin, DHEAS, Free testosterone.
ALso, a thorough internal assessment - per vaginum and per speculum.
I think that will reveal the diagnosis.
Meanwhile try taking an OTC painkiller ( antispasmodic if the pain is in waves ), also try hot bottle compresses.
Take care.
