Question: I am experiencing pain deep in my lower abdomen, above my pelvic bone, I have had my gyn check up and pap smear, at present I have been diagnosed with UTI, I have no other symptons.

Urinary tract infection is associated with lower abdominal pain.
As you have mentioned that you have been diagnosed with UTI, appropriate antibiotics need to be taken for UTI.
A urine culture and drug sensitivity will help to determine the bacteria causing infection and most appropriate antibiotic.
At the same time, it is important to rule out pelvic inflammatory disease (PID).
What was the result of pap test?
A number of infections show up on pap test.
