Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Low back pain with radiation usually occurs secondary to disc prolapse and nerve root compression.
Epidural steroid injections have transient benefit and on long term is not very useful.
Physiotherapy should be continued for strengthening of back muscles.
Pain modulator medication like pregabalin or amitryptiline or gabapentin can be used.
Medication for stroke should be continued and no significant interactions with these medications or steroids.
Visit and examination by a neurologist will be helpful and if required go for repeat spine imaging.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
