                                    Brief Answer:
common complaint, painkiller tablet advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
Removal of embedded IUD is always associated with severe lower abdomen and back pain.
So to start with it is very common but as it must be very bothersome so take a strong painkiller tablet like iboprofen to relieve the same.
But in case it is not controlled or worsen up then visit your gynecologist as she might like to give you some injectable painkiller and advise you an ultrasound.
But as per my experience this pain will subside by itself soon and till then take painkiller tablets.
Take care. In case you have other questions you can contact me on health care magic.

Okay got that---not a problem, understand the pain issue---and it's not cramps. I didn't have any pain or much for that matter until today 4 days later in my lower back right side only. Aside from the pain it's the vomiting I am more concerned about---Do you think the vomiting is related to the surgery or perhaps do I have a flu bug. As an aside note, I have had zero bleeding since the day of the surgery so there is no blood or discharge issuees.

                                    Brief Answer:
ultrasound whole abdomen
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, this vomiting is most probably not related to the procedure but as the pain started 4 days after the procedure then I think you should wait for another 3 days and if similar symptoms persists or aggravates then get an ultrasound for whole abdomen done and visit your gynecologist with report.
All the best.
