Question : I have had a couple of days with great pain in my left kidney area ... I suspect kidney stones, I had them before. If I go into the clinic, is there anything that can be done?
Brief Answer:
You should get an Ultrasound abdomen.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Pain in the Kidney region could be due to stones.
Ultrasound abdomen will confirm the diagnosis.
You should ask your doctor about Ultrasound abdomen.
If Ultrasound abdomen is normal, then the pain could be due to musculoskeletal cause.I prescribe Skeletal muscle relaxant tablet containing Thiocolchicoside 4mg twice daily to my patients with musculoskeletal pain.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards
