What Causes Lower Back Spasms When Diagnosed With Bulging Disc Disease?

Question: I am having lower back pain symptoms (spasms, pain when I get up from a chair, sometimes hurts when walking) that are radiating to my lower abdomen. On Thursday, I was cleaning out a closet and bent over. Immediately I felt something give way and pain. I have bulging disc issues so I thought that was what it was. But as I said, I am now having twinges and spasms in my lower back and abdomen. This morning I woke up and had a feeling of discomfort in my stomach and upper colon. I have been taking Alieve PM at night for the last two nights. Bottom line is I just don't fell right in my stomach and abdomen.
