Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
To recapitulate: increase medical dosage to twice daily and limiting dairy - pain in abdomen - left lower side - loose stools and sometimes diarrhea after you eat - 2 weeks - taking Pantoprazole - bought lactose free milk in a hope that you have lactose intolerance - wants to know the thoughts...
My thoughts as per your history:
Since your problems is of 2 weeks, the most probable cause can be an infection in the intestine or some other organ in the abdomen in vicinity of intestine.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
First of all send the sample of the stool for tests, preferably for 3 consecutive days.
Additional tests of blood, urine and ultrasonography may help to get a probable diagnosis.
These along with the clinical evaluation and examination by a Doctor would give you the probable diagnosis so that you can get an appropriate treatment.
If there is a complete relief, well and good.
If not, you may ask for a reference for a Medical or Surgical Gastroenterologist for further evaluation, tests and treatment.
This is important because it is already 2 weeks that you are suffering, hence better to get an appropriate diagnosis and proper treatment.
I hope this answer helps you, please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
