Question : HI. I am 69 years old. I have lower left back pain, sharp stabbing pains when I move. Over the counter Meds help and so does heat and rest. Where should I seek help?
Brief Answer:
Could be a slip disc
Detailed Answer:
Hi there.
Thanks for the query.
This could be a problem with your spine, must commonly slip disc.
You can see an Orthopaedic surgeon for this problem.
Avoid bending forwards or lifting weights. Apply hot packs to the affected region. Take Tablet Diclofenac with Thicolchicoside combination twice a day after meals for 5 days and Tablet Rabeprazole twice a day before meals for 5 days.
Get an Xray of the lumbosacral spine and upload for my review.
I hope I have answered your query.
I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
