Brief Answer:
like tendon strain, stress pain, muscle spasm.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have studied your case.

I will like to give differential diagnosis like tendon strain, stress pain, muscle spasm.

Osteoporosis in old age may aggravate leg pain due to weak bones.
I will advise to further investigate like MRI, Dexa scan, and if required colour Doppler.

Stretching your leg muscles or riding a stationary cycle may help.
Taking diet rich in calcium and potassium or oral supplements of the same
Check your vit B12 and Vit D 3 levels.

Till time you can consult physiotherapist for help.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care.

Thank you. They do not want to do ultra sound because I have a history of stage 1breast cancer 51/2 years ago treated with lumpectomy and radiation and am well now. Does this make sense?
