What Causes Lump Above The Site Of Morphine Pump Insertion?

Naloxane is the antidote
Detailed Answer:
Hey thanks for your faith in the health care Magic
I have gone through your question and I understood your problem.
First understand the kinetics behind morphine metabolism. A typical serum half life for morphine is about 3 hours give or take an hour with normal liver and urinary function. If a new dose is given at the halflife interval, ie 3 hours the build up is like this; 1 + 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/8 + 1/16 ... reaching a limit of approximately 2x the serum level of the individual dose. The body increases accommodation daily.
Now coming back to your question. Its highly impossible to get rid of it completely but we can try reducing its effects by medical therapy. Naloxane is the widely used drug for this.
It’s usually given intravenously, as this is the quickest way to get the medication into the bloodstream. It can also be given subcutaneously, or intramuscularly. It has been found very effective.
But it should only be used under close medical supervision.
I hope my answer was helpful for you . Dont forget to close the discussion.Thank you.
