Question : I have recently felt a lump just inside my anus while wiping after a BM. There is no pain involved. I'm afraid of what it might be.

Dear Sir

Going by description of lump just at anal verge following two possibility needs to be considered and ruled out

1. Skin tag

2. Thrombosed pile

If there is no associated pain it is much more likely to be just skin tag. Exact diagnosis will however depend on clinical examination. Providing clinical photograph if lump is visible outside will be helpful.

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take care
