Question : Fever was103.5 scalp feels swollen sore to touch feel like I have a small lump at the base of the skull and even my forehead feels swollen been this way since Friday evening temp stays down with Tylonal

Fever responding to tylenol is a good thing but tender scalp to touch and a lump feeling at the base of the skull indicates a lymph node involvement and indicates infection of a nearby head regio, my suspicion is of ear nose or throat and sinuses region infection. It needs a little antibiotics regimen for 5 days minimum and a complete clinical correlation to sort out the cause of this fever. Get to an otorhinolaryngologist and let them sort it out for you. No worries. It will be fine after prescription of some antibiotics and antipyretics.
