Enlargement in the scrotum after hernia surgery could be due to swelling of the testis and spermatic cord.
During hernia surgery, there will be dissection of the spermatic cord to separate the hernial sac. If the dissection is more,swelling may occur post operatively.
Nothing to worry. It reduces gradually.
I prescribe Tablet containing Trypsin & Chymotrypsin along with anti inflammatory tablet to my patients with similar complaints.
