What Causes Lump On Left Side Of Head?
Question: Soft fluid lump appeared on the left side of my head out of nowhere, I went to sleep nothing and woke up with a very noticeable lump. I went to Monte Sinai emergency room in NY and they said it was probably nothing, I'm still worried, what could it be?

It may be caused by several things and all of them are not worryng. Most common this is seen after unnoticed hit during sleep, insect bite or allergy reaction to shampoo, detergent. ALso it can be inflammed hair follicle, tendintiis or muslce cyst. In every case, you should apply cold comoresses on it, and it should pull back in few days. If it increases then it can be aspirated but mostly this is not required. WIsh you good health. Regards
