Question : Hi I have a lump on the palm of my hand and not sure what it is

The lump on the hand can be due to the following reasons:
Inclusion cyst or a dermoid cyst.
cysts attached to tendons like ganglion or tenosynovitis.


I would appreciate your feedback on the following points:
-Since when have you got this lump ?
-Size ?
-Is it hard or soft ?
-Painful or painless ?
-Any pain on pressure or movement of the fingers ?
-Mobile or a bit fixed ?
-Any other relevant history like that of trauma, any piercing of small object like needle or so ?
-Can you post the picture / photograph ?

The treatment may be in the form of :
-Excision if it is inclusion cyst
-Local injection of the steroids if tenosynovitis or so.
