Yes there is diagnosis of Major depressive disorder in DSM -5 (Diagnostic and statistical Manual). In simple language we can call it depression.In which symptoms are low mood, lack of interest, sleep disturbance, weight loss or gain, hopelessness, worthlessness, fatigue and death wishes are there.
Mirtazapine, fluoxetine and duloxetine are drugs used in treatment of the same.
