Question : awakened tuesday morning with major swelling below nose including cheeks and lips and afunny feeling in forehead. went to emergency room at hospital. receives a steroid shot in hip and 3 rx pills 20mg famotidine,10mg citirizine, and 20mg prednizone. thurday morning shows little improvement.

Brief Answer: please meet your ent doctor Detailed Answer: Hello I would strongly recommend that you meet your ent doctor . It looks like you developed an allergic Reaction to something while sleeping. Which is most likely to be an insect bite.Thats why you were given steroid shots. I would just like you to meet your ent doctor for just looking for a focus of infection or allergy. Please dont worry as it is unlikely to occur again, but still try to meet your ent doctor.
