Brief Answer:
Could be due to wax/impurities blocking ear channel
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concern.
Experiencing massive hearing loss without exposing to any sound trauma, could be due to impurities mixed with ear wax blocking the ear channel.
Try not to use ear buds to clean your ear, and do not pour water when bathing, neither press on ear trag when bathing. Avoid using earphones. This is to avoid entering of water and other impurities/wax deeper in the ear channel.
If this compromises your daily activities, then go to ear, and ask to have your ear cleaned. Otherwise, can wait until you see your doctor.
All the best.
