Brief Answer:
Medications side effect

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Metallic taste in mouth is very common with use of medications, hydrochlorothiazide is one of them. Weight of 210 pounds itself might be contributing to it by acid reflux and gastric discomfort. Wait for the symptoms to subside on supportive therapies and if it persists consult your doctor for a change in prescription meds. Use sugar free gums to chew, drink adequate fluids, avoid smoking, brush your teeth after meals, use non metallic dishes, cookwares and utensils. Consult your doctor and let them decide what is best for you.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
