Brief Answer:
Its good to have hemoglobin more than 12.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have CLL. There is no treatment required in early stage of disease. Symptoms are minimal. So you are right. It is common in early stage.

But you should regularly monitor your hemoglobin, total wbc count and platelets count. Consult your haematologist and plan accordingly.

Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.

Brief Answer:
Starting of treatment in CLL depends on many factors.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear
I have gone through your question and I can understand you concern.
Treatment should start in following condition.
Evidence of progressive marrow failure like hemoglobin less then 11 or platelet less then 1 lac.
Progressive or symptomatic spleen or lymphnode enlargement.
progressive lymphocytosis, weight loss, fever, night sweat, fatigue etc.

So it need clinical examination and judgement.

Iron supplements leads to dark stool. It is very common with iron supplements so don't worry about it.
