Brief Answer:
shin splint

Detailed Answer:
Hello. I went through your question and understand your concern.

This is a common complain in your age. The most common cause of sensation alteration in that region is called shin splint due to overpronation of the foot. Generally it causes pain which is not due to a real injury, while other times it causes numbness or burning sensation.

It is a benign situation. Do not consider other diagnosis like nerve entrapment which one could suggest.

It will pass in a few days. You can put ice, but no medication is needed.

Hope this helps.
