After 2.5 years of surgery if there is a mild discharge from the stitch line it is likely to be due to a superficial infection. You need to press the adjoining area and see if the discharge increases. Apply topical antiseptic cream if the discharge is mild. In case it continues then do consult your physician and get proper oral antibiotics prescribed to control the infection.
