Question : I have been having mild ache just left of my naval for about a month. I seem to wake up every morning with a mild queasy stomach and I have been having lower to middle back stiffness which seems to come and go. The ache in the abdomen seems to come and go as well.it is not tender to touch and on a pain scale it is a 1 . I am just concerned I might be developing something serious and would like your thoughts

Brief Answer:
Following answer to your query...

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking.

I read carefully all your concerns and I can say as follow :
1. Stomach pain with left side abdominal pain maybe related to:
- Stomach issues like gastritis
- IBS (irritable bowel syndrome)
- Urinary infection (rarely)
It is important to know if you have had any changes in bowel movements (constipation or diarrhea).

2. You are reporting for back stiffness and it may be related with posture or muscle pain.

If you were my patient I would have recommended the following examinations to find out what is causing your symptoms:
•     Abdominal ultrasound
•     Urinary analysis
•     Upper endoscopy

Mean time I would suggest to start using voltaren gel to relieve your back pain.

Hope this was of help!
Wish you health!
