Brief Answer: it is missed abortion Detailed Answer: Hello XXXXXXX I have read through the sonograhy report. I am sorry; it is a missed abortion. That means it is a non-viable pregnancy that is retained within the uterus. Patient would have had no symptoms like vaginal bleeding at all. Ideally, this has to be terminated medically. Brief Answer: chromosomal abnormalities Detailed Answer: Hello, Yes, in a missed abortion, patient will NOT have any symptom at all like vaginal bleeding, pain abdomen etc. The possible reason is chromosomal abnormalities is 50 to 60% of the cases. In your case also, this can be the reason. Other causes can be teratogenic or mutagenic factors caused by several factors such as drug intake.
