What Causes Missed Period And Shooting Pain In Chest Area?

Question: Hi Doctor,
My GF got delayed from her period date, on the 1st visit the doc did an ultrasound and told her tat she has endometrial thickening and has given medroxyprogesterone acetate tab, diagnosed her for pms and pcod and now shes having serious shooting pains in her chest after taking these tablets each time, i am really worried can you please help me, the doc said she has hyper acidity and asked her to continue these tablets, but is there any serious issue. she thinks shes pregnant, but the pregnancy indicator kit showed negative results twice and she took an ipill last month and before that she had taken a tablet to stop the chumms, she sometimes is having headache, tummy ache and feeling too tired. last month she had her period on 18th
Is this causing all these problems,
please help me.

Hi,

The symptoms you report can occur due to delayed period. As per my opinion, there are not much chances of pregnancy as she has taken pills. This seems to be just delayed periods and the pain is due to gastritis. Let her take antacids available OTC.

That being said, ultrasound scan cannot detect pregnancy at this early stage. It would be beneficial to get serum beta hCG blood test done to confirm pregnancy accurately.

Please send me serum beta hCG blood test report so that I can advice you further.

And she says she noticed sm white kinda discharge. Is she really pregnant or is it d tablets side effect. Could you please advice. I am really getting tensed.she says if she takes medroxyprogesterone she gets severe chest pains.

But Wt hpns If she takes medroxyprogesterone 2 times of 10 mg Fr 5 days. does it cause any kinda issue?
coz the doc whom she consulted has given medroxyprogesterone 2 times of 10 mg Fr 5 days. so shud she continue with this tablet o shud she stop it
So ma'am is the lump kinda thing Near d areola due to side effect of the tablet?

She can continue medroxyprogesterone. No problem. This was given by doctor to get periods.

Lump is not side effect of these medicines. Please get lump checked by your doctor.
