Question : I have been on the pill for many years and in April switched to a new one. I had my first two periods like normal no problem in April and May. But I have now missed my last two periods XXXXXXX and July. I am always on time for my periods. I have taken multiple pregnancy tests and all are negative. I am 9 weeks from my last period. I feel sick throughout the day but never actually get sick just feel nauseous. I am prone to migraines but have recently gotten worse ones. Should I be concerned I'm pregnant or is it just a fluke?

Brief Answer:
no chances of pregnancy.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I can understand your concerns.

It is normal to not have periods while taking the oral contraceptive pills regularly.

Since you have not missed any of the pills, the chances of pregnancy are negligible as these pills inhibit ovulation. Also, your pregnancy tests are negative. So, there is no need to worry about this.

Your normal periods might resume when you stop taking the pills.

You may have an intermittent spotting during the cycle or have a periods during the next pill free or placebo period.

Sometimes, feeling sick and nauseous and worsening of migraines are most probably the side effects of the pills.

If the nausea is unbearable, tablet ondansetron (prescription drug) can help.
For migraine, tablet amitriptyline (prescription drug) can help in prophylaxis.
Kindly consult your doctor and discuss these issues.

Feel free to ask further.
Take care.
Thanks.
