What Causes Missed Periods?
Question: Hello, I am taking levlen ed and I'm supposed to have my period last Wednesday. I've had a very stressful 2 weeks around 3 weeks ago at work. Do you think this could have caused my missed period. I took my pills daily this month. Is there a possibility that I'm pregnant?

I understand your concern.
As you said, stress is a factor which causes menstrual irregularity. It might be the cause of your delayed periods.
OCP's if taken regularly at correct time reduces the chance of pregnancy by 0.3%. So since its taken correctly, there is less chance of being pregnant. But for confirmation get a urine pregnancy test with early morning urine sample. If negative, you can wait for 1 week for spontaneous onset of periods. If periods are still delayed, you can take progesterone tablet to get withdrawal bleeding.

Should i start taking my levden ed pills as per normal? Or should i not take it and wait til i have my monthly?

Start the new packet of levden ed from the 1st day of menstrual cycle. Meanwhile have protected intercourse using condom when you are not on pills.
