What Causes Mood Swings And Anxiety While On Nucynta?

Question: I am taking nucynta for my back pain and have been now for almost a year. I am now starting to have side effects. The pain dr changes me over to oxy 7.5 with hydrocodon 350. It upsets my stomach. I have taken so many different kinds of pain meds the nucynta worked great but now the itching, muscle spasms and anxiety is really effecting me. My mood swings are also effected. Can you help

If you are having mood swings and anxiety, this needs to be addressed by a trained Psychiatrist. Usually these symptoms are not caused as side effects of Nucynta.

You can also get other treatment for back pain life Epidural steroid, Physiotherapy methods like IFT, TENS which offer good relief to muscle spasms.

You can take Tablet Diclofenac and Thicolchicoside combination twice a day for 5 days after meals. This is NSAID and Muscle relaxant drug eucharistic week offer good relief in most types of muscular and skeletal back pain. Apply hot water bag to the painful areas as well.
