Brief Answer:
Bone pains are characteristic side effect of Neupogen.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

I assume that she gets Filigastrim (Neupogen) shots after every chemo. This medicine is known to give terrible bone pains. The pain is different in each patient and varies depending of the individual pain sensitivity.
The pain is probably caused by bone narrow stimulation, swelling and inflammation which can literally push the bones from inside.
Weakness, moods and tiredness are all very very typical side effects of chemotherapy.
It is necessary to give her rest and good pain management. To do that she should try Acethaminophen and Diclophenac at first. If this wont help, Oxycodone (Vicodin), Morphine or even Fentanyl should be tried.
Her pain can be also caused by bones metastases. In such case, the pain can be controlled with Radiotherapy and special transdermal patches with Fentanyle.
She should consult doctors specialized with pain management.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
Healthy diet is the best choice for her.

Detailed Answer:
Nutrition is important to every person. No matter if this person has cancer or not. There is no special diet for cancer patients. It is important to deliver all necessary ingredients. Regular, healthy diet is the best choice. Vegetables, low fat meat (chicken), soups, enough calories a day (around 2000 kcal a day) are good options for her.
Sweets and soft drinks (which do contain sugars) should be avoided. Too much sugar intake can accelerate cancer growth.
If she recovers depends not only from the diet. How advanced is the cancer and how strong is the chemo are important factors as well. She may not get back to 100% of her previous condition. She may be weaker day by day. It all depends of the cancer.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
