Question : I have sores on the back of my tongue, and my jaw has been sore.

The mouth sores are very painful and could be due to variety of reasons .
First and foremost is due to B12 deficiency. I would recommend you to get a serum B12 level done,based on which we can tell if you require oral or injectable supplementation.
It could also be due to viral infection.
Meanwhile I would recommend you to apply glycerin orally to ease the pain .
