Question: Hi,

My wife got both her lower wisdom tooth removed one week back. She is in constant pain since then. Initially, she was taking some pain medication, due to which she got ulcer. Ulcer has gone now once she stopped medication. Still, she has a big wound like formation in her left inner cheek. It doesn't seem to be ulcer. She is in lot of pain.
Please suggest any cream or gel which heals this wound quickly.

Brief Answer:
Traumatic ulcer,apply anaesthetic gel

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for writing in.

I saw your picture & it seems to be traumatic ulcer that has occured due to harsh instrumentation or cheek biting.
In such case she needs to apply topical anaesthetic gel like dentogel for pain relieve & take multivitamin for faster healing.
Avoid spicy food as it will aggravate the wound.
Consult dentist if problem persists.

Hope I answered your query

Wishing you good health
