Question : My nasal mucosa are inflamed, no news there, but today I noticed pinpoint white spots....what does this mean?
Brief Answer:
Just areas of inflammation with ensuing changes!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this inflamed nasal mucosal and the white spots that you have reported. If possible, upload an image for review. However, most whitish spots are consistent with inflammatory reactions and soft tissue changes. Unless something else comes up, there is really nothing to worry about. I suggest that you also wash the nasal mucosal with saline to keep it moist and avoid germs stagnating and multiplying.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
