I sit up on the edge of the bed and tip my head back on my shoulders and suck the mucous down my throat. It's not pleasantt, but it worksIs their a medicine or herb that you can suggest ?

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to acid reflux. Taking proton pump inhibitors like esomeprazole for 2 to 3 weeks will be helpful. Esomeprazole is available as over the counter in brands like Nexium. This can be taken one hour before break fast daily. Avoid lying down for at least 1 hour after meals. Raise the head portion while sleeping also.
