Brief Answer:
Many causes commonest overuse

Detailed Answer:
hi,

thanks for your question.

Myalgia, or muscle pain, is a symptom of many diseases and disorders. The most common causes are the overuse or over-stretching of a muscle or group of muscles. Myalgia without a traumatic history is often due to viral infections. Longer-term myalgias may be indicative of a metabolic myopathy, some nutritional deficiencies or chronic fatigue syndrome.

If you have been more active of late then this may explain your muscle pain.

if your symptoms continue then I would see your doctor who can arrange some preliminary investigations.

in the mean time regular gentle excercise, stretching and antiinflammatory medication could be of benefit.

I hope this answers your question.

best wishes
