What Causes Muscle Aches In The Legs, Shoulders And Neck Along With Fever At Night?

Question: Over the past 2 weeks I have developed muscle aches in my legs ,shoulders, and neck. This is accompanied by 100 to 101 temp. fever only at night. When I get up the fever disappears, but not he aches.

Hi,

This is probably due to a kidney infection. I would recommend that you take ibuprofen tablets to relieve fever and pain. I would also recommend that you get a urine analysis together with a culture and sensitivity test to determine which antibiotic will best treat your infection.
