What Causes Muscle Cramps And Dizziness Post A Mastectomy?

default
Posted on Tue, 20 Jun 2017
Question: I have been having muscle cramps and join pain in my arms off and on for about six months. I have light Lymphodema caused from a mastectomy almost ten years ago. Seems to be worse on exercising or liftin heavy objects or repeated movements. Now my neck seems stiff and shoulder joints also. I've also had nerve pain in arms previously from a neck injury. Kind of feeling a little dizzy and nauseous as well but may be because I'm starting to feel anxious ?

Brief Answer:
Degenerative spine disease to consider.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Dizzy and nausea may be related to anxiety, but other symptoms (pain in arms, joints, muscles spasms, nerve pain) may be related to conditions such degenerative spine disease, arthritis, etc.and seems to be not related to lymphedema.

So, before to leave the culprit to anxiety, it is necessary to see your primary care Doctor and to get examined clinically, with imaging studies and blood tests too about abovementioned conditions.

Treatment depends on the diagnosis.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Kind regards.
