                                            Question : Good afternoon Dr. Guni,
Currently taking 50,000 units of D2 once a week for 8 weeks; this Wednesday will be my fourth week. Than I believe my doctor will have me take, I believe, 2000 units of D3 daily once I finish the D2. I'll have to check with my doctor on that amount again.
Believe my low D2 in my body has caused my calf muscles to cramp up when walking; so I can't fast walk these days. Guess I'll see what the end result will be over the next couple of months. Need to get back to aerobic exercise for the heart.
Thanks for asking. Have a good day. XXXXXXX Maczka

                                    Brief Answer:
You may get back to physical activity;
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Hope you feel better one month after starting the treatment with D2 ( 50 000 ui once a weak).
It is to early to check the vit D levels, but you should feel an improvment of the symptoms right now ( otherwise the cramps are not caused by low VotD).
So you can restart your physical activity safely and continue the VitD treatment.
Wish you good health.
Best wishes,
Dr.Mirjeta
