If you do not mind, I have a few questions I need your help with ma'am
Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help, but before that I need to better understand a few things so I request you for your patience and co-operation in answering a few of my questions.
1. Was an x-ray ever conducted of both your hip regions? If yes, then please can you attache the films to our discussion (you can do so by just taking clear images of them in a well lit area and attaching it to our discussion)
2. Do you feel the pain to be muscular or relating to the bone or do you feel it could be a pinched nerve (usually the pain spreads over a particular region with nerve entrapment)?
3. Do you have trouble bending your knee or stretching it completely?]
4. Do you limp of have a different gait (way of walking)? If yes, do you feel you bear more weight to one side (i.e. to the right side)?
5. If you have the diagnosis made please attach it here so I can better understand which muscles was torn and which one was pulled?
6. Could you describe the injury mechanism to me? How it happened, where exactly you suffered contact/the blow, etc.
I look forward to hearing from you in order to help you ma'am.
Best wishes.
With limited information at hand, suspected possibilities listed ma'am
Detailed Answer:
Hello once again ma'am.
I waited this long to reply to your question only because you answered only one of my questions, and I thought you may be taking time to reply to them, but I guess you might have not seen them.
Based on the little information I have in hand, I am suspecting the following:
1. Abnormalities with the hip region skeletal structure: although the injury was in the calf region, the medical team should have checked on the hip region as well, as any injury to the leg can cause an impact at the hip region as well
2. Muscular abnormalities: As no surgical correction was performed, it is difficult to realise the correct situation there
3. Nerve entrapment: Due to the previously sustained injury
I look forward to hearing from you in order to help you further.
Best wishes.
