Question : my 28 year old husband is having spasms in his left groin area. They are visible to the eye. He has been having them for 4 days off and on. Pain level 1 when it is happening. He is an acrobat and trains 2 times a week, teaches 1.5 hours of very aerobic XXXXXXX dance once a week and drums for dancers 3 hours a week. He stretches daily. Other than that he is a student and sits for 4 hours a day in class. He is in excellent health otherwise.

Brief Answer:
Could be an inguinal hernia

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Thanks for writing in

The history provided points to an inguinal hernia

I need some details :

Is there a visible swelling that reduces on lying down ?
Does the swelling increase on coughing or straining ?

Can you send a picture of the groin area or get an ultrasound of abdomen and groin and get back to me ?

Awaiting your reply to help you out
Regards
