Brief Answer:
Possibly acidity related.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.

Looking at the clinical symptoms and current query, my opinion is as follows:

1. It appears to be due to acidity maybe gastritis, duodenal ulcer or reflux esophagitis.
2. If it burning pain/ hunger pain increases with food, it is possibly gastric ulcer.
3. If it appears around two hours after food intake, it is possibly duodenal ulcer.
4. If sleeping worsens the pain, you have possible reflux esophagitis (Gastro-esophageal reflux disease).
5. You can take proton pump inhibitors like pantoprazole for a week, if it reduces pain, it is acidity related. You might need to take it for six weeks, for the lesion to heal completely.
6. Endoscopy can confirm where the lesion is, but treatment would remain the same.
7. The acidity would increase with stress, spicy or sour foods, smoking, alcohol, etc.

Gastritis can also cause stomach bloating. Also avoid too much talking during food intake to avoid air intake into stomach. Chewing of food should be done thoroughly.
If you provide me more details, I can help you better.

Any further queries, happy to help again.

Will Tylenol or Advil make it worse. Would an anti acids help? I am waiting for new insurance to kick in. Can't afford 250 it cost last time I went for testing. Is there a homeopathic remedy I could try first?

Brief Answer:
Yes, Antacids should be helpful

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking again.

Yes, Antacids are going to be helpful, specifically in acidity due to gastritis. You can also try cold milk, cold water, ice cream etc to reduce pain.

Tylenol or Advil could worsen it as it can increase acid production.

You can go for proton pump inhibitors like Pantoprazole (which are over the counter drugs) along with H2 blockers like Ranitidine initially. You can take twice daily for a week, and it should show improvement.
Testing can be done later.
Would not advise any homeopathic drugs, as I do not have any knowledge regarding it.

Avoid stress and eat right food and sleep well.

Any other queries, happy to help again.
