I have found that the oval lilac pill xiemed/alprazolam has helped me sleep which I mainly use when travelling .
If I am on an 8 hour flight during the night I take one when we are taking off and usually wake up as we arrive.
Recently I have had a total knee replacement when has been a successful operation. However I am experiencing pain in my muscles and am unable to sleep. I have in desperation taken half a tablet and thankfully managed to sleep, Is this tablet harmful in any way or addictive. From my research it seems okay.
Thanks XXXX
Addictive tendency is there
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query.
I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
Alprazolam is a good medicine to sleep and reduce anxiety. But it has an addiction potential. Normally person who takes alprazolam regularly gets sued to it and needs it compulsorily on everyday basis. Otherwise he gets withdrawal symptoms. Moreover people increase the numbers as well from 1 to 2 to as muchas 30 tablets per day.
If you take it occasionally, then there is no issue but if you feel the need to take it more frequently then you need to be cautious. You may take ones a week and it wont cause any harm.
Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
