What Causes Muscular Pain Below Right Rib-cage?

Got an ultrasound done 3 months back and it came normal.
It is not intense or unbearable, but is a mild nagging pain, especially on movemnt of that area.
What may be done for it and is there anything to get checked?
Most probably costochondritis.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
Noted your history of muscular pain below the right bib cage for approximately 4 months- USG normal as expected - just a mild nagging pain - on movement of that area- wants to know as to what may be done and any tests...
Thanks again for a nice history which is suggestive of you being suffering from a condition called costochondritis.
A small course (say a 10-day) of an anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen or Diclofenac (whichever suits you) in proper dosage (three time a day after food) along with Ranitidine or Omeprazole, and oral steroid like Deflazacort in tapering dosage (you need a prescription for this of a local Doctor), multivitamins with Lycopene, Anxiolytic if you have anxiety or stress; local application of heat if the atmosphere has become humid) should help you and you may become symptom-free.
I hope this answer helps you, please feel free to ask further relevant queries if you need to or if you feel that there is a gap-of-communication.

Actually i have been on some med or other for long so wanted to know if it can be healed through conservative means.
better to be symptom free
Detailed Answer:
Nothing to worry but you said it is nagging you for 4 months or so.
Certainly taking medicines and getting alright is going to be your choice, Madam.
It may worsen/reduce depending upon so many factors.
I can understand that you must have been taking so many medicines and how difficult it becomes to have additional medicines.
Medicines are the conservative treatment.
Take care.
Take decision.
All the best.
