Question : under some stress with my son away at military school been having upset stomach, nausea some lose bowls movements vomiting once in the last 3 weeks but the feeling is there more often does this sounds like it could be stress related unable to see my GI doctor until September no fever black or bloody stool

Hi and thank you for asking.
I read carefully all your concerns and I can say as follows:
1. Your symptoms may be related with:
- gastritis/stomach ulcer
- IBS that can mimis stomach issues.
It usually aggravates from
2. To my opinion you need to be evaluated with upper endoscopy and abdominal.ultrasound to better determine the cause of your symptoms.
3. Meantime You can use Prilosec OtC and antacids to improve your symptoms.
Try to avoid spicy foods, alcohol and smoking.
